Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
- Ensures that all maintenance of building structures, repair, grounds, and landscaping for all Lexington facilities are appropriately carried out.
- Works with senior management and bank facilities manager regarding necessary upkeep and projects.
- Supervising maintenance and housekeeping staff.
- Keep a record of all maintenance and service activities conducted and maintaining a cycle of the same.
- Ensures proper working shifts of employees and evaluating their performances.
- Interacting with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of all systems in the facilities.
- Complying with all safety norms and regulations.
- Delegating work to subordinates and ensuring the timely completion of the same.
- Filing purchase orders and other documentations for the procurement of spare and replacements parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of the equipment, tools and materials used in building maintenance.
- Knowledge of the methods, practices and techniques of maintaining building and facilities.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to interpret miscellaneous drawings, schematics, and assembly or operating instructions.
- Ability to perform multiple job functions and tasks with minimum supervision.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with other employees, management, visitors, outside contractors, and the general public.
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and maintain the appearance of maintenance work areas.
- Must have the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
- Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing maintenance practices.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or the equivalent.
- Five (5) years of skilled maintenance work.
- Previous experience supervising other trades or maintenance personnel.
- Valid Kentucky Driver’s License and the ability to maintain a driving record in good standing
