The Field Engineer (FE) ensures the quality and functionality of the newly installed AV systems through comprehensive system testing and commissioning. The FE will travel to job sites both locally and internationally to perform tests on various sound systems, video systems, and control systems. If a technical issue is discovered, the FE is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving the issue. The FE will also verify connection labels, configure IP addressable devices, and complete project close-outs.
Qualifications:
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to travel
- Experience with commercial audio, video and/or lighting systems
- Basic understanding of programming and data networking
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, related field or equivalent experience
- Familiar with control systems and digital signal equipment
