What you will be doing:
Corporate MIS Support is responsible for ensuring the secure and stable operations of user devices across the computer network and messaging infrastructure to provide maximum performance and availability of the network resources to end users. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, optimizing and troubleshooting user hardware and software. MIS Support will also perform some systems administration duties such as troubleshooting end user issues, configuring servers/backups and administering computer accounts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• Technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including current versions of Windows Server OS
• Extensive application support experience with firewall, routing, wireless networking and unified communications systems
• Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and standards. Hands on hardware troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws in an International environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements: This position encompasses a combination of office and field responsibilities, necessitating both physical and mental capabilities to effectively fulfill the job requirements. The employee should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that may involve extended periods of sitting while operating office equipment, as well as occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Field duties may require climbing ladders, working in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, or environmental elements. The employee should possess adequate manual dexterity, eyesight, and proficiency in using standard office tools such as computers, printers, and telephones for tasks involving reading, writing, interpreting, and managing paperwork. Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing work settings are essential. This role may also involve occasional travel, including overnight stays, requiring flexibility in working hours and commitments. Safety protocols must be followed at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
