What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of assigned projects, from initiation to closeout. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects meet specifications, stay on budget, and are delivered on time, all while maintaining Ford AV’s commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Mentoring Job Superintendents, Installation Technicians, and Engineers to develop high-performing teams.
- Project Oversight: Managing all aspects of job execution, including safety compliance, scheduling, and budget control.
- Pre-Sale Support: Collaborating with sales teams to provide estimation reviews during project planning.
Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) and Codes:
Veterans with leadership and project management experience are encouraged to apply. Relevant military specialties include but are not limited to:

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Strong leadership, communication (oral and written), and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & project management software.
- Familiarity with safety and OSHA standards.
- Experience with scheduling software (preferred).
- Relevant hands-on experience in construction, engineering, leadership, or management is preferred; a degree in one of these fields is a plus.
- PMP and/or CTS certifications (preferred for senior-level positions).
- Prior supervisory or management experience (required for senior-level positions).

Physical Requirements This position encompasses a combination of office and field responsibilities, necessitating both physical and mental capabilities to effectively fulfill the job requirements. The employee should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that may involve extended periods of sitting while operating office equipment, as well as occasional standing, walking, reaching, and lifting objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Field duties may require climbing ladders, working in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, or environmental elements. The employee should possess adequate manual dexterity, eyesight, and proficiency in using standard office tools such as computers, printers, and telephones for tasks involving reading, writing, interpreting, and managing paperwork. Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing work settings are essential. This role may also involve occasional travel, including overnight stays, requiring flexibility in working hours and commitments. Safety protocols must be followed at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
