In our Office of General Counsel, you’ll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal, tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.

You will play a key role in managing, developing, and enhancing Ford's Special Investigations program in support of its overall compliance program.
You will manage an international team of investigators and lead privileged investigations around the world involving allegations of bribery, competition, and other legal compliance topics.
Strong ethics, excellent organizational skills, and impeccable judgment are a must.
You'll have...
- JD (Juris Doctor) degree.
- 5 years as a licensed attorney in good standing in a U.S. state bar.
- Will ultimately have to become a member of Michigan bar.
- Experience in compliance in a complex multinational enterprise with significant investigations experience; or comparable experience in a law firm or government agency.
- Experience as a people leader.
- High integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive and confidential matters.
- Strong working knowledge of the relevant anti-bribery laws such as the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, competition laws and other legal compliance topics and experience investigating the same.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in counseling and advising multinational company regarding compliance program including Code of Conduct, compliance policies, risk assessment and day to day counseling and advice
- Experience in preparing and developing management and Board committee presentations
- Skilled in project management (planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of a specific project goals and objectives)
- Curious, patient, and emotionally resilient, with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
- Willingness to embrace change
- Ability to learn and comprehend quickly

What you'll do...
Guide and mentor your team of investigators located in North America and South America, providing strategy on investigation steps and legal counsel.
Lead and oversee high priority investigations around the world involving potential violations of the law or government investigations, interacting with people all over the company.
Provide strategic guidance and support to the Director and Counsel of Special Investigations, collaborate with subject matter experts within the Office of General Counsel, and interface with key stakeholders across the enterprise.

Salary : $108,000 - $136,000
