This Tampa based Business Analyst position, will report to VP of Finance, and will support both the finance and marketing functions of the business. The position requires independent critical thinking in an ever-changing environment. This team member enables leadership to make great decisions by providing accurate, reliable, and timely data, to deliver on our mission statement. This team member must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Fully engaged, service minded attitude
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
• Strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
• Basic knowledge of restaurant or related hospitality industry
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Aloha Enterprise reporting preferred
• Restaurant team member experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing performance of the business including product sales, business trends, marketing activities, and other ad-hoc requests
• Maintain and update pricing and menu item data files
• Analyze customer information and provide insights and reporting
• Maintain database of merchandise inventory and provide recommendations for reorders
• Provide operational data analytics and reporting to leadership team
• Gather and organize information for decision makers within the organization
• Provide oversight of operational level procedures and maintaining related Excel forms
• Develop and maintain on-going menu analysis
• Utilize math skills to analyze key data
• Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding
• Provide solutions to accounting/technical issues as they arise
• Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities
• Assist with routine correspondence and day-to-day tasks
• Draft communications and training documents
• Believe in and follow all team standards and expectations
