Associate Director of Development, Parent & Family Philanthropy
Serves as one of the lead fundraising officers for the Parent and Family Philanthropy Team, providing strategic guidance on annual giving and major giving fundraising.
Manages a personal portfolio of approximately 150 major gift parent and family prospects.
Devises individual engagement strategies for each prospect in their pool with the goal of soliciting annual gifts and/or multi-year gift commitments at the $5,000 level , with specific solicitation goals to be determined in an annual goal-setting process.
Collaborates with academic leadership and other campus partners (Student Affairs, Athletics, etc.) on cultivating and soliciting Parents’ Leadership Council members.
Identifies additional opportunities to raise the profile of their assigned area with key fundraising constituents to expand the donor pipeline.
Researches and develops funding proposals/appeal letters as required.
