What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at Fordland Clinic?
Scope-Purpose
Mental Health Therapists deliver top-quality mental health counseling to children, adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, and group therapy sessions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform in person and telehealth clinical counseling services in accordance with company policies.
- Complete assessments, treatment plans and therapy sessions as well as clinical notes/required paperwork in a timely manner and according to procedures
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals and specialists, including sending referrals.
Education/Experience:
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required and a current unrestricted license to practice in Missouri as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- OR Licensed Professional Counselor with a current unrestricted license to practice in Missouri.
- Experience with substance use disorders preferred.
Work hours: Full-time, salary position. Although at least 30 hours per week on average are required to maintain full-time benefit eligibility, 40 hours per week will be expected of this position. Our providers typically work 8:00am-6:00 pm, 4 days a week. Clinic hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays 8:00am to 4:00pm. Hours are subject to change.
