The Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, development, and execution of digital marketing and social media strategies and tactics. Leveraging their creative and administrative skills, the Marketing Specialist will deliver engaging, focused and accurate copy; own assignments from draft to deployment; and contribute to evolving and maintaining our brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a multi-channel digital marketing strategy to support the growth our physician group and individual practice locations:
- E-Mail Marketing
- SEO/SEM strategies and tactics
- Social media strategies, including content creation across an array of social platforms
- Reputation Management
- Reporting of digital performance metrics to leadership
- Manage and create advertising for the digital marketplaces including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
- Develop written communication (email newsletters, social media calendars, blog articles, web copy, display copy, etc.)
- Use analytics data to guide conversion rate optimization for ads, landing pages, website pages, email campaigns, etc.
- Identify opportunities for improving the quality of creative assets used in the campaign, including ad creative and key words used in online ads.
- Stay current on SEM/SEO and reputation management best practices by collaborating with industry partners.
- Partner with leadership and physicians to monitor non-favorable social media activity and respond appropriately.
- Manage day-to-day social activities and tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, and/or communications preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing digital marketing initiatives including lead generation, email, marketing, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, search engine marketing and social media, preferably with a healthcare or consumer industry focus.
