Responsibilities:
As our Receptionist/Forensic Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our agency. Your main responsibilities include:
- Performing typical receptionist/clerk duties, including answering calls, greeting visitors, collecting mail, scanning documents and organizing electronic files
- Scheduling evaluation appointments and managing the office appointment calendar
- Collaboration with other staff members to ensure efficient scheduling, minimization of wait times, and facilitation of smooth case flow from beginning until end
- Extreme attention to detail while gathering data, verifying court and defendant information and obtaining necessary documentation
- Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries regarding the agency, appointments, and evaluation progress
- Becoming proficient with our systems and maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in said system
- Tracking records being requested and adding them to individual files
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Proficiency in email, portals, PDF, and other electronic communication tools
- Familiarity with courts and legal terminology
- Very strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to follow a task from beginning until completion
- Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively while managing stress
- Knowledge of Google Docs and database tracking programs is essential
- Ability to commute daily to Fairfield, OH 45014 with strict adherence to the attendance policy
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree or higher (Preferred)
- Previous experience as a receptionist or scheduler is preferred or at least several years of relevant customer service experience
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am until 4:30pm
- Never nights or weekends
- 100% in-person work required
