Systems Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Analyst to support and enhance our IT infrastructure within a manufacturing environment. This role involves analyzing business processes, designing IT solutions, and ensuring the efficient operation of enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Avaya and Mitel communication systems, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement IT solutions to improve business operations in a manufacturing setting.
- Maintain and support Avaya and Mitel telecommunications systems, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define system specifications, and recommend technology improvements.
- Work closely with IT teams, developers, and vendors to deploy and upgrade software, hardware, and network systems.
- Monitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and provide recommendations for enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity protocols, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including process workflows, technical manuals, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end users to ensure smooth adoption of IT systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Hands-on experience with Avaya and Mitel communication systems.
- Strong understanding of ERP, MES, and other manufacturing IT systems.
- Knowledge of networking, databases, and IT security best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and system integrations is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
- Avaya or Mitel certifications (e.g., Avaya Certified Specialist, Mitel Technical Certification).
- ITIL, PMP, or relevant IT certifications are a plus.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
