About The Role
The Project Manager will play an integral role in supporting Foresight’s product development and/or quality compliance by delivering projects on time and within budget. The role reports into a Program Manager. The individual will collaborate with research, development, clinical, bioinformatics, software, operations, regulatory, quality, and external partners to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. You will own, drive, communicate, and engage all project partners to enable accountability and problem solving as we continue to raise the bar with continuous improvement on agile, waterfall, or hybrid project management principles.
What You Will Do
Lead project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management, ensuring processes are followed in accordance with regulations and general controls.
Develop project plans with buy-in from program management and cross functional stakeholders.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to program management and cross functional stakeholders.
Ensure stakeholders and team members understand and adhere to project scope and guide teams to prioritize the most valuable deliverables.
Assess and remediate technical issues and manage changes through defined change control protocols.
Support technical teams with Agile and Waterfall project management implementation and ceremony execution, dependent on the project.
Facilitate and encourage collaboration across departments to ensure projects are completed successfully, within budget and on time.
Conduct opportunity and risk management activities including identification, mitigation and realization for assigned projects/programs.
Coordinate within the Program Management Office (PMO) to develop and implement project management policies, procedures, standards, and tools to manage the flow of information within Foresight.
Identify opportunities for improvement in project level processes, collaborate with the PMO on proposed solutions, and oversee the implementation of proposals.
Enforce adherence to the corporate governance process for escalations and decision-making.
Cultivate, build and maintain trusting and collaborative relationships within teams and cross-functionally.
Partner with Program Management to ensure successful team engagement and execution to delivery timelines.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as appropriate.
What You Will Bring
Technical Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution.
2 years of experience in project management with experience in the biotechnology and clinical lab industries, including experience with Lab Developed Tests (LDT) and In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products in FDA and CAP/CLIA regulated environments.
1 year of project management experience combined with 2 years of experience in technical/laboratory environments with expertise in the LDT/IVD space will also be considered.
2 years of experience in ISO 13485/15189, GLP, or CAP/CLIA environments.
Project management experience supporting diagnostics, MRD experience preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other project management certification preferred.
Project Planning
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure in a biotechnology environment (diagnostics product experience preferred).
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Familiarity with design control, translating user needs to product requirements, agile development, SWOT analysis, and product lifecycle management tools within a regulated environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently with strong attention to timeline and performance metrics.
Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and deliverables.
Maintain team accountability to scope, timeline, and budget for project deliverables.
Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in escalating risks that may impact project scope, timeline, budget, and/or resources.
Team Management & Strategy
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams through product development projects or quality/compliance projects.
Ability to think critically to manage and overcome project risks with clear solutions.
Support project teams in achieving a high level of performance and quality, holding teams accountable for their work, and mentoring less experienced team members.

Demonstrated experience in empowering teams to maintain ownership over deliverables and decision making.

This role is hiring at an annual salary of $86,000 - $110,000 and is eligible for equity offerings.
