Therapy Scheduling Coordinator (Remote)

The Therapy Scheduling Coordinator (TSC) role directly matches clients for therapy services via phone, email and online appointment request form. The TSC drives the client experience from inquiry, client service setup, completion of necessary documentation, and handoff to scheduled therapists prior to the first appointment. The TSC plays a critical role in the success of the operations team and supports therapy with its contributions to company growth goals.

This is a full-time remote hourly position with a schedule of Monday - Friday from 11am-8pm CST.

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly with our new clients in scheduling appointments through the phone, email, and request forms 


• Completes appointment request and client communication forms (ARF, SupportHub, internal referral forms)


• Support a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls


• Communicate with therapists when clients are scheduled


• Verification of benefits to RCM Benefits team


• Handles cancellations and reschedule requests


• Client account creation and updates/maintenance


• Insurance verification


• Respond and manage portal messages from clients via AdvancedMD


• Communication with therapy support coordinators regarding PCTs and transfers


• Complete Athena, AdvancedMD, and Gchat tasks as assigned 


• Respond to payor availability requests


• General administrative tasks 

Compensation & Benefits:

• $16-$18 per hour

What We’re Looking For:

• Associates Degree preferred


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 


• Exceptional customer service skills


• Strong computer skills (Proficiency in Google Suite and EHR/EMR experience preferred)


• Healthcare experience preferred


• Scheduling experience strongly preferred


• Medical office and HIPAA experience preferred
