Who we are:
We are a family-run cafe in Forest Hills, NY that opened in October 2022. Our goal is to provide drinks, pastries and service that we are proud of.
Job Description:
This is a part-time position where prior BARISTA experience is required.
- greet our guests in a friendly manner
- educate our patrons on our menu and providing recommendations
- prepare coffee and tea beverages that meet quality standards
- properly handle and maintain equipment
- uphold food safety standards
- prioritize speed, efficiency, and customer service
The team members we're looking for:
- take initiative & are proactive
- are detail oriented
- have a friendly and warm demeanor
- are communicative with both customers and the Forest Cafe team
- can handle working in a fast-paced environment
- are passionate about what we do here at Forest Cafe
We are looking to hire baristas to join our team! Our ideal candidate has at least one year of barista experience, knows how to steam milk and pour latte art, as well as have a positive and earnest mindset.
