Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources

Schedule : 52-Week Administrator
Salary : $144,023 – $178,572 (commensurate with experience)
Job Summary : Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources provides strategic and operational leadership in the district’s human resources operations ensuring alignment with the district’s goals, policies, and compliance requirements. The Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources plays a key role as part of the Superintendent’s cabinet; fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture that aligns with the district’s mission and goals.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in human resources, labor relations, school administration, educational leadership, or related field
- Five to eight years of progressively responsible work experience in labor relations, personnel, or educational administration
- Extensive experience in supervising and evaluating district programs and employees
- Demonstrated experience in collective bargaining, labor contract management and interpretation, and human resources administration / compliance
- Proven ability to work effectively with various employee groups
- Experience with pupil accounting, student discipline, and athletics

Physical Requirements :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate both orally and in writing, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile, and negotiate.
Evaluation :
Conducted under the direction of the Superintendent in accordance with State law and the Forest Hills Board of Education policy.
