Essential Job Functions:
- Organize landscape equipment use, maintenance and repairs
- Manage the maintenance of irrigation systems
- Manage equipment asset inventory
- Manage irrigation system inventory
- Perform basic equipment troubleshooting
- Perform irrigation system audits
- Provide support to Land Management Teams
Qualifications Required:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in the horticulture or related field is required.
- Candidate must have knowledge of tools, materials and practices of grounds maintenance, while possessing the ability to operate an automotive vehicle and light equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Physical Work Requirements/Work Conditions:
- Ability to exert physical effort for extended periods in performing manual labor in extreme temperatures required.
- Ability to frequently move and/or lift up to fifty (50) pounds and carry it a reasonable distance, and occasionally lift and/or move more than eighty (80) pounds.
- Ability to hear, understand and follow oral and written instructions over radio, telephone and in person.

Position Summary: Forest Park Forever seeks a highly organized and attentive individual to join a passionate and highly regarded Land Management team to support the landscape maintenance efforts of the park. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented and demonstrate among other things, a strong knowledge of landscape tools, equipment, and supplies. They should also demonstrate a strong understanding of landscape irrigation technology, inventory system management, basic equipment troubleshooting, and an ability to optimize resource allocation.
