CAD Operator/Drafter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and proficiency in various CAD software. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and schematics that will be used in the development and construction of projects. The CAD Drafter will collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications using AutoCAD and/or Inventor software.

Duties

• Develop detailed CAD drawings and schematics for mechanical designs, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit, to create 2D and 3D models.
• Collaborate with engineering and/or Sales team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineers and project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts, revisions, and project specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, and/or Inventor.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Experience in creating schematics and detailed technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree or certification in drafting technology or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
