Forever Clean is one of the 50 largest waste companies in the United States, and one of the fastest growing waste companies in the country. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead a new division being launched in the Charlotte NC market.
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team in delivering customized waste management solutions to construction and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and at least three years of experience in the solid waste industry. Relocation assistance will be offered if the candidate is relocating from outside of North Carolina. We offer competitive compensation, including excellent benefits and a company vehicle.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals and market share targets
Team Leadership : Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide coaching (including ride-alongs) to achieve individual and team goals.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects. Ensure customer satisfaction and address issues promptly.
Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities. Develop strategies to position the company as a leader in waste management solutions.
Proposal and Contract Management : Oversee the preparation of tailored proposals and contracts for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and pricing structures.
Performance Tracking : Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and prepare reports for senior management to inform decision-making.
Collaboration : Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and promote company offerings.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales management in waste management, environmental services, or a related industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of waste management practices, environmental regulations, and sustainability initiatives (preferred).
