GENERAL DESCRIPTION : The IT Business Analyst is an important part of the team here at Forever Living. This position is primarily responsible for participating in the design and implementation of new software solutions helping to define SOP’s and process improvements and deployment of existing solutions into new markets. They are focused on working with the business users to document existing As Is and To Be processes elicit business requirements to create functional and technical specifications (where needed). This person will participate in all phases of the project (GAP analysis training testing phases cutover golive support) as well as providing post golive support as needed. Should have the ability to roll their sleeves up dig in and truly understand the system endtoend and be instrumental in successful software deployments. Someone who is a team player and who works to deliver projects ontime with high quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS :
- Elicit & Document Business Requirements suitable for Development team to begin work
- Works closely with designated business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other business units / users to understand existing business processes and document them
- Participates in all Project phases and works collaboratively with others
- Develop business knowledge to be able to understand and provide solutions to business requirements
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensive :
Functional Specifications / Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) with minimal supervision as needed
Process flow documents (e.g. As Is & To Be processes etc.)Training materials / Work Instructions / job aidsTest Scenarios / Test CasesOther artifacts as neededLead Requirements gathering GAP analysis and other assignments as neededWorks with manager and other BA’s to ensure that issues or enhancements are being addressed in current and f uture software enhancement releasesIdentify troubleshoot and document system issues as they ariseSupports the business by providing pre / post golive support as neededWork cooperatively with coworkers and supervisorMaintain regular and punctual attendance at workTeam player that works well with others and follows proper proceduresAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES :

35 years as a Business Analyst or similar roleSoftware Implementations with a preference in an ecommerce platform deploymentBachelor’s degree in computer sciences or business preferredWaterfall & Agile methodologies experience preferredProfessional certifications preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM JOB DUTIES :
Walk / move from place to place throughout building on a variety of surfaces including tile wood and carpet.Sit / remain seated at a computer for up to 8 hours a day usually 4 hours at a time.Bend turn and twist repetitively.Reach forward overhead and down below.Work indoors in a climate controlled environment.Use a PC with dual monitors keyboard and mouse continuously on a daily basis.Close vision distance vision and ability to adjust focus.The company reserves the right to modify interpret or apply this job description in any way the company desires.
