Forge Forward is looking for a Project Manager to support a client in Charleston, SC. Minimum 10 years’ experience leading large, complex C4I/IT projects for the U.S. Navy or Department of Defense (DoD) is required. Must be a US citizen with minimum active SECRET clearance. Those not meeting these requirements cannot be considered.
Will manage all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on-time and within budget. This includes managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, and contractual deliverables. Will develop and manage a detailed integrated master schedule ensuring on time and on budget delivery of all contract deliverables. Will manage technical IT staff responsible for complex engineering, implementation, and sustainment. Will develop and manage project status reports (weekly and monthly), decision logs, technical reports, testing reports, etc. Evaluates and manages project risk and coordinates with executive staff for delivery. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables. Possesses strong knowledge of technology and requirements of this project.
Functional Skills and Responsibilities:
- Experience leading large, complex C4I/IT defense projects.
- Experience with all types of projects including FFP required.
- Experience evaluating technical alternatives, documenting approaches, and providing recommendations.
- Experience developing and presenting decision briefs for senior and executive management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience leading large, complex C4I/IT projects for the U.S. Navy or Department of Defense (DoD).
- Bachelor degree in Management or Business required, Master degree preferred.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- US citizen with minimum active SECRET clearance. Current TS/SCI desired.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Navy and Joint networking architectures.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
