We are currently partnering with a leading international manufacturing company headquartered in Europe to find a strategic HR Business Partner. The company is expanding its existing U.S. operations in North Charleston, stepping up to the next level of growth.
This role will focus on organizational development and guiding the company through key talent management decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing people, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting business objectives through strategic HR initiatives.
The position will report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives, fostering growth and optimizing performance across the organization.
- Collaborate with managers to identify talent needs and offer solutions to enhance individual and team performance.
- Lead efforts to develop people through training programs, leadership development, and career growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships across the organization, guiding leadership on best practices in talent management, employee engagement, and team dynamics.
- Support developing and maintaining HR policies and handbooks, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Work with a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) to manage compensation, benefits, and administrative HR functions.
- Provide guidance on organizational development, including workforce planning and succession management.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to drive decision-making and enhance overall HR processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing HR functions in international companies.
- Experience with PEO partnerships, including benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations preferred.
- Ability to create and implement HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and coach individuals, focusing on leadership and career development.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to improving HR practices and operational efficiency.
