About Forhopp

Forhopp is an emerging freelance marketplace designed to bridge the gap between freelancers in countries with limited payment access and global clients. The MVP is launched and we're now seeking a strategic finance co-founder to drive our funding efforts and financial strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Forhopp’s pre-seed and seed fundraising efforts, targeting venture capital firms, angel investors, and startup accelerators such as Y Combinator and Techstars.
• Develop and execute a financial strategy that ensures sustainable growth and investor confidence.
• Establish partnerships with banks, fintech firms, and investors to support Forhopp’s expansion.
• Guide the company’s business expansion into the U.S. and global markets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in structuring equity-based compensation and building the finance team.
  
  

Requirements:

• Based in California, USA.
• Experience in fundraising, venture capital, investment banking, or startup finance.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, growth strategy, and monetization in tech startups.
• Familiarity with fintech, payment processing, or financial regulations is preferred.
• Ability to take ownership of financial strategy and investor relations in an early-stage startup environment.
