Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel MRI Technologist for a contract position in Portland, Oregon. This role is essential for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Prepare and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety protocols.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and high-quality imaging.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, imaging results, and any adverse reactions.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist with specific MRI credentials.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI imaging preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
