The Human Resources Generalist is an active and engaged role responsible for participating in the development and implementation of People processes and activities for the organization. You’ll work with individuals and leaders across all functions of the organization to facilitate and support a highly engaged culture and high performing environment throughout the employment lifecycle.

In this role, you will specialize in:
- Facilitating and participating in our employment process - candidate evaluation and communication, interview facilitation, pre-employment, onboarding, and performance processes, practices, and tools.
- Promoting and enabling our Culture - contributing to the identification, planning, and facilitation of opportunities and events to build relationships, learn and grow, and have fun!
- Communicating and facilitating our benefits - serving as a liaison for employees, communicating and partnering with our broker, understanding and promoting our benefits.
- Managing and reporting our data - ensuring data integrity in our systems, analyzing data and reporting, completing surveys, coordinating compliance processes, and conducting research on people topics and trends.
- Optimizing our policies, practices, and systems - participating in the optimization of our people technology, designing, documenting and improving processes, maintaining awareness of and applying best practices, maintaining and applying handbook and policies.
- Facilitating a great workspace - participating in the ongoing management of our headquarters space and use.
We are looking for someone with:
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3 years of experience in roles with responsibility for HR functions.
- Excellent approachability, interpersonal skills, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.
- A high sense of curiosity, self-motivation and accountability.
- Experience with various HR technologies including HCM, HRIS, ATS.
- Ability to understand employee and organizational topics and navigate with sensitivity.
- Strong organizational skills to navigate simultaneous and shifting priorities.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in a service and technology environment is beneficial.
- Experience with a largely remote workforce is beneficial.
This role is flexible hybrid in the Milwaukee, WI area. Relocation support is not available.
