We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team, responsible for managing the entire sales process from identifying and contacting potential clients to closing deals and providing post-sale support. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prospect in a defined geographic territory and strategically plan marketing efforts to reach customers.
- Contact customers to achieve maximum sales and profit for the company.
- Develop, implement, and execute marketing plans for new customer acquisition.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, including quotations and necessary follow-up.
- Develop and expand the current customer database and update it daily.
- Ensure customers are invoiced and payments are received in a timely manner.
- Make cold calls to develop new accounts and add to the database.
- Prepare and send quotes, purchase orders, collections, clarifications, and all related documentation.
- Track orders, customer payments, billing requests, and prepare and deliver equipment to customers.
- Participate in the physical delivery of sold products.
- Generate and submit commercial activity reports, including contacts, projects, progress, and sales results.
- Complete and send reports using HubSpot.
- Actively participate in weekly or as-needed meetings with the supervisor.
- Perform other operational activities requested by the supervisor, including support with deliveries or customer service.
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the material handling market.
- Good mechanical knowledge.
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email).
- Ability to contact customers and prospects at all business levels.
- Proficient in following up with customers on provided quotes.
- Must work well with others and possess good interpersonal skills.
- HubSpot Sales Software Certification.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills Certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to speak, listen, and communicate clearly on the phone.
Tools and Resources Required:
- Reliable vehicle for client visits.
- Computer, stable internet, and a dedicated remote workspace.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
