The Social Media Manager will serve as the agency lead, budget line holder, and cross-platform strategist. Role will lead ideation to execution in partnership with agency partner for all social media strategy in coordination with key brand initiatives including community building, engagement, brand awareness, and advocacy.
Principle Accountabilities
Travel for events (photoshoots, store openings, influencer activations) on a case-by-case basis
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential functions (with or without an accommodation) without posing a "direct threat" to the health and safety to self or others.

Principle Accountabilities
- DAILY: Responsible for building, managing and executing monthly content calendar (IG/TT) inclusive of needed retailer and promotional support. Ensure that content is optimized for each specific channel to maximize engagement and awareness.
- DAILY: Manage social and community engagement agency track projects day-to-day, lead weekly meetings and provide timely direction and feedback for all agency deliverables. Own social shot lists, social shoot planning, & UGC sourcing in coordination with Specialist.
- WEEKLY: Use analytic measurement tools and internal resources to provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on KPI metrics for each platform, concept and by campaign to gauge success.
- MONTHLY: Conduct brainstorms with cross-functional teams and agency to share learnings and gather new, innovative ways to create social content and launch programs.
- ONGOING: Actively research and analyze the social landscape, providing recommendations on trends, new platforms and campaign strategies as well as competitive brand activity including non-beauty brands.
- ONGOING: Identify major PR, media and partnership opportunities in conjunction with the Marketing Director and execute against approved initiatives.
- ONGOING: Oversee the development of the Social Media Specialist to drive results and execute social media vision.
- ONGOING: As needed content creation & editing.
- ONGOING: Develop and execute targeted audience growth strategies for TikTok and Meta, leveraging platform-specific best practices, trends, and engagement tools to drive follower and engagement growth.

- Agency relationship: Social, Community Management, Creative
- 4 years social media marketing experience
- Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling
- Deep expertise in beauty industry content aesthetics, ensuring a premium, on-brand look and feel across all assets
- Proven experience creating high-impact engagement strategies that increase brand awareness and audience participation across social platforms
- Experience leading the creation and execution of social media content
- Project management skills with ability to multi-task, provide clear feedback, and make timely decisions
- Comfortable creating and being in content on short notice
- Highly organized, data-driven and detail-oriented with strong written and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a passion for beauty and social trends
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Skilled with various social media publishing platforms including Dash Hudson and content editing tools like CapCut, Canva, slip.stream, etc.
