Formation Environmental LLC (Formation) is currently seeking a motivated Staff II civil or environmental engineer to join our team in Boise ID or Boulder CO . Projects will require travel to sites with field investigations varying in scope and duration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to evaluate technical data and integrate findings to propose practical solutions showcase exceptional organization and written / verbal communication skills and uphold a steadfast commitment to scientific integrity quality and adhere to established quality assurance quality control and health and safety protocols. Successful candidates will be part of multidisciplinary teams comprised of various experience levels.
Skills :
- Support other civil and environmental engineers on design projects including with the development of drawing sets using Civil3D technical specifications design reports technical memoranda and engineering calculations
- Manage and interpret engineering and environmental data (that may include air quality soil groundwater and surface water) to develop conclusions and / or achieve established objectives
- Work collaboratively with a variety of scientists (e.g. biologists soil scientists etc.) to devise creative and effective means to mitigate environmental impacts and achieve regulatory compliance
- Support projects through application of various technical and writing skills to achieve established projectspecific objectives.
- Prepare quality technical products as assigned ontime measured by internal and / or external client satisfaction.
- Manage small teams to achieve targeted objectives on strict timelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Civil3D
- Although not required basic GIS and mapping skills are highly desirable
