Job Title Quality & Product Assurance Engineer (Mechanical)
Reports to Director of Quality & Product Assurance
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
- Ensure Quality for machined parts and understand Machining process
- Knowledge of GD&T and interpretCMM measurement data
- Experienced with AS9102 First Article Inspection Report (FAIR)
- Conduct incoming inspection to ensure traceability of parts and materials
- Review supplier sampling inspection reports
- Investigate nonconforming materials, generate NCR to document defects
- Lead MRB, determine root cause, and drive corrective actions
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of hardware per build work instruction
- Verify in-process and final test results per test procedure
- Ensure completeness of build & test documentation, generate CoCs
- Scan and archive all applicable records and objective evidence
- Clear communication with internal peers as well as suppliers and customers

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday - Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, however, these hours will vary based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
Travel
Mostly local supplier visits and minimal domestic travel or as needed.
