Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting high-quality custom cabinets and miscellaneous casework, with a strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials. This role involves working with various tools and machinery to create custom cabinetry that meets client specifications; also involved is fabrication of Corian and Laminate countertops. A commitment to precision and craftsmanship is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Assemble cabinets using appropriate techniques and tools.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials and casework.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in the woodworking industry.
-Proficiency in blueprint reading is essential for interpreting design specifications.
- Familiarity with various woodworking techniques including assembly, painting, staining.
-Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
-Ability to work independently, as well as, collaboratively within a team environment.
