What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant - Central Maintenance position at Formosa Plastics?
POSITION OBJECTIVE
To efficiently facilitate departmental operations and perform functions in support of plant wide transactions with departments, Accounting, Contracting/Purchasing (Local and N.J.) and all FPC contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School Graduate or Equivalent.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. 2 yrs. Clerical experience required.
4. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
5. Knowledge of WEBSMART and AS400 (preferred)
6. Type 50 WPM, required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in Processing Invoice payments duties.
2. Troubleshoot invoice issues.
3. Research and have comprehension of FPC issued Blanket Contracts.
4. Assist with department correspondence.
5. Abide by all Local Policies.
6. Process Credit Card expenditures for Director.
7. Display cooperativeness, ability to work as a team player and provide a constructive respectful attitude.
8. Adhere/Implement/educate/train and adhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to, ISO, personnel, quality, environmental, health, safety, Federal and State laws, regulatory and company requirements.
9. Comply with NTG (Nothing Touching the Ground) requirements. Including daily audits.
10. Be active in Operation Clean Sweep, and ensure employees are aware of and accountable for pellet loss prevention, containment, cleanup and disposal.
11. Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
12. Assist with special events.
13. Assist with scanning into electronic file storage.
14. Able to take initiative on day to day responsibilities
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
