Hours:
· 1st Shift; Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm
· 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am
Pay Rate:
· 1st Shift - $20/hour - $22/hour BOE
· 2nd Shift - $20/hour - $22/hour BOE $0.60/hour shift premium
Duties:
· Weld tubing and related components
· Apply consistent, high-quality welds on various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
· Read blueprints, welding symbols, work orders, and manufacturing drawings to determine weld locations, dimensions, and techniques
· Verify part dimensions using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, or weld gauges
· Prepare, align, and fixture hydraulic tube assemblies before welding
· Tack weld components in place to maintain alignment and geometry during full welds
· Inspect completed welds for defects (cracks, porosity, incomplete fusion)
· Perform visual and dimensional inspections or assist with pressure/lead testing of hydraulic assemblies as required
· Clean and prep tubing and fittings by grinding, deburring, or chemical cleaning
· Set up and calibrate MIG/TIG welding machines and associated tools
· Perform routine maintenance on torches, cables, gas supply systems, and welders to ensure proper operation
· Use proper PPE, including gloves, welding helmet, apron, safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
· Follow facility safety standards, including fire prevention and ventilation practices when welding in enclosed areas
· Report any quality issues, defects, or equipment problems to supervisors
· Suggest and implement improvements to welding processes or jig/fixture designs for better efficiency or quality
· Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S workplace organization
· Complete job training forms, inspection logs, and weld reports as required for facility assurance and traceability

Qualifications:
· 1-3 years of experience of welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
· Certification in MIG and/or TIG welding is a strong plus but not required
· Knowledge of welding standards and procedures
· Experience working with jigs, fixtures, and custom setups
· Proficient in MIG/TIG welding on a variety of metals
· Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings
· Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, weld gauges) for quality control
· Familiarity with weld inspection techniques, including visual checks and pressure/leak testing
· Capable of setting up and maintaining welding equipment, including machine calibration and gas regulation
· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or continuous improvement practices is beneficial
· Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods
· Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
· Comfortable working in hot, noisy, and fast-paced industrial environment
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
· Problem-solving mindset for troubleshooting weld issues or fitment challenges
· Time management skills to stay production and meet deadlines in a production environment
· Willingness to follow safety rules and company procedures at all times
· Good communication skills
· Reliability and strong work ethic
