What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist Assistant position at ForPsych?
ForPsych: A Forensic Psychology Practice is a regional psychology practice with offices throughout Ohio. We conduct psychological evaluations for various private and public organizations. Many of these evaluations include the administration and scoring of psychological measures, including intelligence and academic testing. Psychologists often use professionals like psychology aides (under a psychologist’s supervision) to administer and score these tests, while the psychologist is solely responsible for interpreting the results. We are currently seeking professionals to travel within the Ironton and surrounding areas of Ohio. The position requires a completed Master's degree, preferably licensed in OH as an LPCC or LISW. It is a contract position lasting a minimum of 12 months. It is ideal for recent college graduates, particularly those considering graduate school and/or therapy. It includes paid training and paid travel (if needed).
Duties include:
- Engaging clients from diverse backgrounds
- Efficiently administering and scoring psychological measures
- Writing observations noted during the testing session
- Appropriate note taking and documentation
- Providing support/clerical services for psychologist
Benefits:
- $20 per hour in contract position
- Flexible schedules, ranging from 1-3 days per week

- Willingness to travel to both the Ironton and Jackson, OH locations
- No previous experience is required
