What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector position at FORREST MACHINE, INC.?
General Responsibilities
- Final inspection of product
- Control of records
- Control of finished product inventory
- Preparation of shipping documents, certifications, and inspection reports
- Receiving inspection of outside processed parts
- Control of nonconforming product
- Participate in corrective/preventive actions
- Prepare and approve final inspection reports
- Prepare, submit and approve first article inspection reports
- Enter ERP system data as required
- Communicating customer and quality flow downs
7AM to 5:30PM
· Education: 5 years in physical inspection of machined parts
· Must have proficient GD&T skills
· DQR for any UTC company is a plus
· Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
· Must have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
· Strong desire for continued growth and learning
