What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Team Member position at Forshaw?
Forshaw is offering a full-time warehouse and delivery assistant position, available immediately.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm (with half hour for lunch)
Responsibilities: Helping as a second person on a delivery truck, assembling items in the warehouse for delivery appointments
Skills needed: We can teach you everything you need to know. If you are familiar with tools and have experience in either assembly or delivery/moving, you'll be a good fit.
This job is a fit for you if: you enjoy a mixture of hand assembly, delivery appointments, and warehouse picking and receiving, this will be a great fit for you. Each day will have a similar structure, but the outdoor furniture and grills that you are building will vary.
Work environment: You'll report to the warehouse manager and work alongside a team of three to five other warehouse workers, as well as two delivery drivers. You'll interact with salespeople intermittently if you are working on a project inside the store. You'll meet many customers by picking live pickup orders.
Some things to know about our team:
The warehouse team you'll join at Forshaw is stable and experienced, but welcoming to new members. Our company is extremely stable (many of our employees work here for 20 years). After you've worked in this role for a few months, you'll be able to operate our forklifts, use our RF scanning inventory system, pick and assemble orders, and receive inbound shipments. Our company is constantly growing and changing, so there is always opportunity for advancement.
