Forsyth Barnes have partnered with a New York based brand on their search for a Director of Lifecycle Marketing.

In this role, you'll own the vision and execution of best-in-class Email and SMS programs, driving growth and engagement across a portfolio of brands.

We're seeking a hands-on leader with strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations while scaling high-volume campaigns. Your entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability will be key to building a program that delivers measurable results

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, outcome and results driven and come with significant experience with a DTC, consumer focused brand across Email and SMS channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead strategy and execution of email and SMS campaigns to meet revenue and retention goals.
• Manage content calendars and ensure alignment with product and brand initiatives.
• Oversee segmentation, tracking, reporting, and vendor management.
• Grow email/SMS databases, improve opt-ins, and reduce churn.
• Define KPIs, track performance, and optimize programs based on data insights.
• Occasionally create content and pull reports within email/SMS platforms.
• Partner with Lifecycle and Loyalty teams for personalized, automated retention efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (CX, creative, marketing) to drive projects.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and maintain inbox deliverability.

Key Requirements:

• 6-8 years in email and retention marketing (Retail, DTC, Beauty, Ecommerce experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of email fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Klaviyo, Shopify, Amplitude, and Tableau.
• Analytical with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.
• Basic HTML knowledge is beneficial.
