With a strong market presence and recent external investment, the company is focused on optimizing financial performance, driving growth, and improving decision-making through data-driven insights.
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be responsible for professionalizing the FP&A function, developing comprehensive financial models, and supporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level FP&A experience in a manufacturing or retail environment and have a holistic approach to financial planning and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the professionalization of the FP&A function, ensuring a structured and scalable approach to financial planning and reporting.
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial models to provide data-driven insights and improve strategic decision-making.
- Optimize financial resource allocation, balancing cost efficiency with topline growth objectives.
- Drive long-term financial planning, including forecasting, scenario modeling, and strategic budgeting.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Analyze sales trends, inventory costs, and supply chain efficiencies to improve profitability.
- Support strategic initiatives by managing their financial impact, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, and procurement) to align financial strategies with overall company objectives.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and trend insights for executive leadership.
- Support the CFO in preparing materials for board meetings, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance with regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
