Mobile Software Engineering Manager – Responsibilities
Guide engineers in their growth, helping good developers improve and great ones continue evolving through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Leverage deep expertise in mobile development to oversee and support high-traffic iPhone and Android applications.
Work closely with engineering managers and architects to drive service dependencies, provide technical feedback, and influence solution architecture.
Lead Agile SCRUM rituals, document systems and procedures, and troubleshoot critical production issues to ensure smooth operations.
Stay current on software development trends, identify areas for improvement, and advise on emerging technologies that could benefit the organization.
Manager, Software Engineering – Mobile Applications – Requirements
Strong background in designing enterprise-level solutions and leading software development teams.
Experience developing and maintaining production-ready React Native applications, publishing apps to app stores, and working with iOS (Swift / Objective-C) and Android (Java / Kotlin).
Strong understanding of web services (RESTful & RPC), JSON payloads, CI / CD, unit testing, version control (Git, SVN), and Agile / Lean methodologies like Kanban or Scrum.
Experience operating in a cloud environment (AWS preferred, Azure also useful) and familiarity with modern mobile build pipelines and tools.
Hands-on experience with React Native, React, Node.js, and Atlassian Suite (Jira, BitBucket, Atlas), with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders.
