Overview:
Tyson Foods is seeking a Senior Manager of IT (HR/Payroll) to lead a dynamic team of IT professionals. The role involves overseeing the company's technological infrastructure, driving strategic IT initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to ensure the alignment of IT systems with business objectives. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions that support HR and payroll functions while fostering an innovative and efficient IT culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Agile Execution: Implement scrum practices focused on technical delivery and scalability.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop large IT teams or multiple smaller teams, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with senior leadership to define IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
- Project Management: Oversee complex, large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Operational Excellence: Drive improvements across IT operations, optimizing resource allocation and budget management.
- Strategic Implementation: Align IT practices with long-term business goals.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure IT architecture and design meet industry standards and business needs.
Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- Experience: 7 years of IT management experience, ideally within HR/Payroll.
- Certifications: Relevant IT certifications preferred.
- HR/Payroll Systems Experience: Familiarity with time and payroll management systems.
- Experience with : UKG, SAP Payroll, JIRA, Clarity, Workday, Kronos
