- Responsible for traffic enforcement and accident investigation in Fort Bend County.
- Assists public within scope of authority.
- Serves civil papers as directed.
- Serves criminal warrants as directed.
- Takes reports and secures and preserves crime scenes.
- May handle court security – Bailiff duties.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- One year job related experience (Two years of college (60 credit hours) may substitute for experience).
- Basic TCLEOSE certification.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with the public.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $32.94 - $41.18 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
