We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to help safeguard our store's assets, prevent theft, and ensure a safe shopping environment. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to handle security incidents professionally, and excellent customer service to deter potential loss.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor store activity to prevent theft, fraud, and policy violations.
- Conduct routine security checks throughout the store.
- Identify and report suspicious behavior or safety concerns.
- Work closely with store management and law enforcement if necessary.
- Assist in handling incidents such as shoplifting or disorderly conduct.
- Support a positive shopping environment while enforcing store policies.
- Complete detailed reports on security incidents and loss prevention efforts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be available to work the scheduled hours, including open-to-close shifts on weekends.
