Job description

We are a premier maritime company offering a unique narrated hop on, hop off waterway service spanning 25 miles of the intracoastal waterway with 30 stops providing locals and tourists access to key destinations, dining, entertainment and cultural attractions. Water Taxi of Fort Lauderdale's Marketing/Social Media intern will aim to enhance public awareness of our offerings and drive engagement through digital content. 

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern or Recent Graduate to help promote our brand, increase awareness, and showcase the incredible experience our service offers. You will play a key role in developing engaging content, managing social media accounts, and driving online engagement. 

Qualifications

• Passion for social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and emerging platforms.
• Basic photography and video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in maritime tourism and hospitality a plus.
• Ability to work independently and bring fresh, creative ideas to the team. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to promote our routes and 30 stops
• Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Capture and edit photos and videos of the waterway experience, boats, stops, and points of interest
• Collaborate with local businesses and influencers to enhance brand reach
• Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement
