POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Buffet Busser II will provide exceptional guest service in the Buffet Restaurant at the We Ko Pa Casino Resort. They will follow all guest service requirements provided in the We Ko Pa Way service guide and departmental training and adhere to a 4-diamond service level. Will perform duties in all casino and resort outlets as designated by business demands. Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and events needed by business demands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Responsible for setting tables, clearing tables, restocking plates, and general appearance of the dining room.
Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, servers, and restaurant hosts/hostesses.
Maintains current and accurate information regarding the menu (i.e., pronunciation, preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and plate presentation)
Suggest items to guests based on expressed guest preference.
Ensure proper setup and maintenance of service stations, tables, and common areas throughout all dining rooms.
Ensure that all silverware, glassware, and flatware are polished, stocked, and set to service standards.
To ensure sufficient set-ups for the service station, including silverware, china, sugar, creamers, iced tea, and coffee according to business levels
Responsible for ordering necessary supplies.
Completes assigned side work.
Must be knowledgeable of all health department regulations.
Must have a valid food handler’s permit.
Must have valid Title 4 training.
Performs other related duties as required.
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
Bend, reach, stand, and walk for 34-66% of the workday.
Eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of the workday.
Exposed to hot/cold temperatures for 34-66% of the workday.
Exposed to dust for 1-33% of the workday.
Sit for 1-15% of the workday.
Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high levels of noise daily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year of restaurant experience.

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
