POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Gift Shop Cashier to join our team!  A Gift Shop Cashier Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way -

Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you and Goodbye! As a cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Assist customers in finding products and provide information about merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Restock shelves, organize displays and ensure the gift shop is visually appealing.
• Answer customer inquiries, including questions about pricing, availability, and promotions.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints professionally and courteously.
• Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and informing the manager of low stock or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and efficient working environment.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

• Hear, reach, see, and walk for 67-100% of the workday.  
• Eye/hand coordination for 67-100% of the workday. 
• Stand for 80-90% of the workday.  
• Bend and twist for 1-33% of the workday. 
• While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high levels of noise daily.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

High school diploma or GED

Must have Gift Shop experience
