POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the We-Ko-Pa Way; Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.
Must be organized, have good knowledge of pool safety rules, and continuously anticipate guests’ needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Providing guests with towels, shade, and refreshments, and attending to their requests. Do pool checks to ensure guests have what they need and the pool area is tidy.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
• Ensuring that the swimming pool, furniture, and facilities are clean and safe.
• Welcoming guests and ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Provide guests with towels, shade, and refreshments, and attend to their requests.
• Clearing used towels, glassware, and trash.
• Enforce ALL facility policies and pool rules.
• Enforce safety protocols as set out by the resort.
• Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
• Reporting any damages or incidents to the supervisor.
• Managing the swimming pool area cleaning schedule and performing daily inspections.
• Check guests for wristbands at the main pool gate.
• All other duties assigned by management.
• Able to perform physical labor in hot weather conditions.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of pool equipment and safety measures.
• Consistent professional appearance and pleasant demeanor.
• Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and after-hours
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
• Sitting, balancing, bending, standing, stooping, twisting, and walking for 67-100% of the workday.
• Eye/Hand coordination and wrist motion for 67-100% of the workday.
• Reach for 34-66% of the workday.
• While working on the casino floor, the employee is exposed to high levels of noise daily.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
