Emergency Department Registered Nurse Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Fort Mill Medical Center. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients in the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Performs assessments and develops individualized plans of care for each patient
• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes
Requirements:
• A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required
• BLS certification is required
• PALS and ACLS certifications are required within the orientation period
• ENPC, TNCC, CEN certifications are preferred
• One year of experience in acute care/critical care/emergency department is preferred
• Monitor experience or EKG course completion is required
