This prominent role involves providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to patients of all ages utilizing cutting-edge modalities. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient condition and operating advanced imaging equipment with precision.
- Maintaining proficiency in Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) technology.
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring optimal maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and contributing to the department's performance improvement initiatives.
- Serving as a clinical instructor for students enrolled in the Radiologic Technology program.
- Taking an active role in quality assurance (QA) management and covering PACS Administrator duties when required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum one year of experience as an accredited technologist in a hospital setting, with a preference for those with Quality Assurance expertise.
- Registered with ARRT and holding American Heart Association BLS CPR certification, as well as SCRQSA licensure.
