JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Front Desk Reception Department: Human Resources
Reports To: Human Resources Director Employment Status: Full Time
Exemption Status: Non-Exempt Classification: Sensitive
Supervisory Status: No Salary Minimum: DOE
Driving Classification: Valid Driver’s License
Summary:
To provide administrative and technical human resources assistance to all staff in the Human Resources
Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcoming Personality and Demeanor
- Performs administrative and office support activities for multiple administrative areas.
- Duties may include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors.
- Advanced word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing and faxing.
- Extensive software skills are required, as well as Internet research abilities and strong communication
- Clerical skills, including correspondence, filing, data inputting.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Maintain and organize filing system for all department records
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical.
- Ability to multi-task in a professional setting.
- Accept applications from the public and examine for completeness.
- Assist new hire with paperwork.
- Make necessary copies for payroll as needed.
- Set up a file for the new hire.
- Receive and process employee change of status forms.
- Light cleaning duties of the human resource office. Keeps things neat and tidy.
- Document Verification of the identity and employment authorization of each new employee.
- And all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required: The ability to express him/herself effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Required: Proficient in MS Office programs
- Required: The ability to work effectively with all co-workers and maintain working relationships with
- Required: Maintain a drug-free workplace.
Education/Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required: One year of secretarial/clerical/administrative experience.
Language Ability:
- Proficient in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with management and residents.
Reasoning Ability:
- Strong reasoning and logical problem-solving skills.
Computer Skills:
- Required: The ability to type and use modern office equipment and have experience in using Microsoft

- Required: Valid driver’s license and be insurable under the FMIT insurance plan.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- The employee may occasionally be required to move boxes of up to 25 pounds. Normal vision
long periods of time and walk distances as well as stoop, bend, kneel and crouch. Reasonable
