Position Overview :
This is a high-profile, highly visible role that requires a dynamic and engaging storyteller to lead traffic coverage on our flagship morning newscasts. The ideal candidate will be the trusted voice viewers rely on to navigate their mornings, delivering accurate, timely, and impactful traffic reports across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Traffic Coverage : Deliver live, accurate traffic updates during WINK’s morning newscasts, covering road conditions, accidents, construction, and commuter impacts.
- Storytelling : Use compelling visuals and a conversational delivery style to help viewers understand the impact of traffic on their daily lives.
- Multi-Platform Reporting : Collaborate with the digital team to provide real-time updates on WINK’s website, app, social media platforms and radio ensuring viewers stay informed wherever they are.
- Breaking News : Be a critical part of the breaking news team, providing immediate, clear, and actionable information to help viewers navigate urgent situations.
- Community Engagement : Represent WINK News at community events, building strong connections with viewers and stakeholders.
