USD 234 has an Elementary Instructional Coach position available for the 2025-2026 school year.
Basic Duties :
At USD 234, instructional coaches work closely with the Director of Academics, building principals, and teachers to create an environment for student success. The Fort Scott School District values growth for all students and seeks to provide teachers with support to ensure this is possible. Instructional coaches work collaboratively to provide strategies, implementation support, and feedback to teachers, while also remaining involved in district-level conversations to ensure alignment across all grade levels. Additionally, instructional coaches work to provide meaningful professional development opportunities to all staff.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in education
- 5 years of successful teaching experience at various grade levels
- Advanced degree or progress toward advanced degree preferred
- Must be willing to become a LETRS Trainer
