JOB DESCRIPTION :
Performs work assigned by FWCS Supervisor in combination with City of Fort Wayne Water Maintenance Services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Must be able to work on a team, pouring and finishing concrete.
- Perform demolition work and shoveling of gravel and concrete materials.
- Move and clean debris left out from demolition, as well as basic cleanup.
- Basic landscape duties and replacement of grass, dirt, and gravel.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and hear. The employee is required to have dexterity of hands and fingers. The employee is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. They may be occasionally required to bend at the waist, kneel or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job the incumbent is seated or walking at will and must be able push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be a student of the FWCS Career Academy Construction Trades. Must have OSHA10 certification. Flexible hours, expectations for work are from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00 pm. Seasonal Worker from April until November.
